We are looking for a YouTube Channel Manager to fully own and manage Hawari’s YouTube channel as a core content platform — not just a publishing destination.
This role focuses on organizing and publishing episodes, optimizing content visibility, analyzing performance, and making data-informed decisions that support long-term channel growth and audience engagement.
You will work closely with the content, production, and design teams to ensure that every video is published thoughtfully, optimized properly, and aligned with Hawari’s editorial direction.
Fully manage Hawari's YouTube channel.
Publish video podcast episodes according to a clear content and publishing plan.
Select optimal publishing times based on performance data and audience behavior.
Ensure videos are ready for publishing in terms of format and quality.
Write and optimize:
Video titles
Descriptions
Keywords and metadata (YouTube SEO)
Improve content discoverability within YouTube.
Collaborate with the design team on selecting and refining thumbnails.
Add and manage:
Chapters / timestamps
Playlists
Maintain a clear and intuitive channel structure.
Contribute to improving how content is presented across the channel.
Oversee the publishing of YouTube Shorts.
Coordinate with the content team to select strong short-form clips.
Ensure Shorts follow YouTube best practices.
Regularly monitor channel performance through YouTube Studio.
Analyze key metrics such as:
Views
Watch time
Audience retention
Click-through rate (CTR)
Share clear insights with the team on what's working and what needs improvement.
Suggest data-driven optimizations to support channel growth.
Coordinate closely with content, production, and design teams ahead of publishing.
Ensure all publishing elements are ready (video, thumbnail, metadata).
Maintain a clear and organized publishing workflow.
Contribute to improving internal publishing and review processes.
You:
Have hands-on experience managing YouTube channels or digital video content.
Are confident using YouTube Studio and its analytics tools.
Understand YouTube SEO, titles, thumbnails, and audience behavior.
Are comfortable analyzing data and turning insights into action.
Are organized, deadline-driven, and enjoy working within structured workflows.
Are comfortable collaborating with content and production teams.
Are interested in long-form, cultural, and knowledge-driven content.
