Job Summary:

  • We are looking for an experienced Procurement Specialist to join our team in Saudi Arabia. The ideal candidate will have 3–7 years of hands-on procurement experience within the Saudi Arabian market, specifically in the construction, contracting, real estate, and infrastructure sectors. This role requires strong vendor management abilities, market knowledge, and the capability to manage high-volume and project-based procurement activities efficiently.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee end-to-end procurement activities for construction, contracting, and infrastructure projects, ensuring timely and cost-effective purchasing of materials and services.
  • Source, evaluate, and qualify suppliers in the Saudi market, with a strong understanding of local suppliers for construction materials, equipment, subcontracting services, and real estate-related needs.
  • Prepare and issue RFQs, compare quotations, and negotiate terms and pricing to secure the best value.
  • Review and negotiate contracts, ensuring compliance with company standards and Saudi regulations.
  • Maintain strong supplier relationships to ensure consistent quality, competitive pricing, and reliable delivery schedules.
  • Collaborate closely with project management, engineering, finance, and site teams to understand project requirements and forecast procurement needs.
  • Monitor material delivery timelines and resolve any issues or discrepancies with suppliers.
  • Track and analyze market trends, material price fluctuations, and supply chain risks affecting the construction sector.
  • Maintain accurate procurement records, purchase orders, contracts, and vendor performance reports.
  • Ensure all procurement activities align with company policies, project timelines, and budget requirements.

Job Requirements

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field.
  • 3–7 years of procurement experience in the Saudi Arabian market, with a strong background in construction, contracting, real estate, or infrastructure.
  • Solid understanding of construction materials, equipment suppliers, subcontractor markets, and project-based procurement.
  • Strong negotiation, communication, and vendor management skills.
  • Proficiency in ERP systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to evaluate supplier proposals and pricing structures.
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize, and work under pressure to meet project deadlines.
