Position Title: General Manager – International School
Location: Istanbul, Turkey
We are seeking a General Manager who will provide overall leadership and direction for all academic and administrative operations of an international school. This role requires a visionary leader with a proven track record in international education, capable of fostering excellence, innovation, and cultural diversity while ensuring alignment with the school’s mission and strategic goals.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Oversee the complete academic and administrative functions across all school departments.
- Lead and inspire academic and administrative teams, ensuring the highest standards of educational quality.
- Represent the school to local and international educational and regulatory bodies.
- Develop and implement strategic plans in alignment with the school’s vision and mission.
- Support student activities, extracurricular programs, and initiatives that promote the school’s cultural and educational identity.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Master’s degree in Educational Administration or a related field (Doctorate preferred).
- Minimum of 8 years of documented experience in education, including at least 3 years in a senior leadership position.
- Fluency in both Arabic and English (written and spoken).
- In-depth knowledge of international curricula (American and British).
- Strong capabilities in strategic planning, organizational leadership, and achieving institutional KPIs.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to engage effectively with teachers, students, and parents.
- Proficiency in educational and administrative digital systems.
- Ability to lead in a multicultural environment and manage diverse teams.
