We are seeking a qualified General Accountant willing to relocate to Libya. The role is responsible for handling day-to-day accounting operations, maintaining accurate financial records, and ensuring compliance with company policies and local financial regulations. The ideal candidate is adaptable, detail-oriented, and experienced in working in dynamic environments.
Record daily financial transactions and maintain general ledger accounts.
Prepare journal entries, accruals, and adjustments.
Perform monthly bank and account reconciliations.
Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable.
Prepare monthly financial statements and management reports.
Ensure compliance with Libyan accounting, tax, and regulatory requirements.
Support budget preparation and track actual vs. budgeted expenses.
Assist in internal and external audits by providing accurate documentation.
Maintain proper filing and documentation of accounting records.
Coordinate with internal departments and external stakeholders as required.
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
Minimum 2 years of experience as a General Accountant.
Solid understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.
Willingness and ability to relocate and work in Libya.
