- Koko Restaurants are a fast-growing restaurant group operating inside modern residential communities, and we are hiring a female Digital Marketing & Activations Specialist for immediate relocation to Basra, Iraq.
- A fully furnished private room is provided inside the company’s main administrative building. The accommodation area is separate from the working space to ensure privacy, safety, and comfort.
Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant to manage the financial records of our restaurant operations. The ideal candidate will have prior experience in the restaurant or hospitality industry and a strong understanding of accounting principles, payroll, and financial reporting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain and manage daily financial transactions, including accounts payable and receivable.
- Prepare and analyze financial statements, reports, and budgets.
- Monitor and reconcile bank statements, cash flow, and petty cash.
- Handle payroll processing and ensure compliance with local labor laws and tax regulations.
- Ensure accurate cost tracking for food, beverages, and other operational expenses.
- Assist with financial forecasting, budgeting, and cost optimization strategies.
- Coordinate with external auditors and tax authorities for audits and filings.
- Implement and maintain accounting controls and procedures specific to the restaurant industry.
- Support management in financial decision-making by providing timely and accurate reports.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of accounting experience, preferably in the restaurant or hospitality industry.
- Male candidates only.
- Must be willing to relocate immediately outside Egypt.
- Strong knowledge of accounting software is a plus.
- Solid understanding of tax regulations, payroll, and financial compliance.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Attention to detail and high level of accuracy.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ready to start once relocation arrangements are completed.
