The Chief Technology Officer (CTO) is responsible for leading the company’s technology strategy and driving its digital transformation journey with a strong focus on Microsoft Dynamics 365 ERP. The CTO plays a pivotal role in fostering innovation, enhancing efficiency, and ensuring scalability by overseeing the design, implementation, and optimization of Microsoft Dynamics ERP across the organization.
As both a strategic leader and a technical authority, the CTO bridges business objectives with ERP capabilities, ensuring seamless system integration and sustainable long-term value creation.
Key Responsibilities
Technology Leadership & Strategy
- Define and execute the company’s overall technology roadmap with a strong focus on Microsoft Dynamics ERP.
- Align ERP and IT initiatives with organizational strategy and growth objectives.
- Provide thought leadership on emerging technologies and their integration with Dynamics 365.
ERP Implementation & Optimization
- Lead the end-to-end implementation of Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance, Supply Chain, HR, and related modules.
- Customize and configure Dynamics ERP to meet organizational requirements.
- Ensure seamless integration with other business systems.
- Oversee data migration, system upgrades, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Develop dashboards, reporting frameworks, and analytics to support executive decision-making.
Governance, Security & Compliance
- Establish ERP governance, cybersecurity protocols, and compliance frameworks.
- Ensure Dynamics ERP meets local and international compliance standards.
- Implement role-based access and security controls within the ERP environment.
Team & Stakeholder Management
- Build and lead an ERP/IT team with strong Microsoft Dynamics capabilities.
- Provide training, guidance, and change management strategies to ensure user adoption.
- Act as the key liaison between business stakeholders and technical teams.
Vendor & Partner Collaboration
- Manage relationships with Microsoft, Dynamics implementation partners, and third-party solution providers.
- Negotiate contracts and service-level agreements to ensure cost-effectiveness.
- Stay updated on Microsoft Dynamics updates, releases, and ecosystem advancements.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or related field (MBA preferred).
- 8 - 10 years of IT leadership experience, including 4 years leading ERP (Microsoft Dynamics 365 preferred) implementations.
- Proven track record in managing large-scale Microsoft Dynamics ERP projects.
- Strong understanding of business processes: Finance, HR, Supply Chain, Sales & CRM.
- Expertise in system integration, data governance, and cybersecurity.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
